GraphaLAST components offer a siliconized surface and residual graphite remaining within the silicon carbide matrix on the outer surface. This process utilizes a liquid phase silica reaction process that converts the outer later to silicon carbide. This residual graphite allows for better surface lubricity where higher load capabilities are required.
